Children learn from experience. Therefore, excursions are seen as a valuable component to the program. We ensure that appropriate planning is undertaken to ensure the success of each excursion. We focus on planning to maximise the learning potential of the experience, whilst ensuring the safety of all those involved. We will seek your written consent for your child to attend an excursion.

Throughout the year, many incursions are organised to provide extension in educational experiences from professionals visiting our centre. If your child doesn’t attend on the day, then you are welcome to bring them with an accompanying adult for the duration of the incursion.

Examples of this includes:

  • Henny Penny egg hatching program
